Epoxy Adhesive

Once it has finished bonding and curing, epoxy prevents permeation by nearly any liquid or solid material, including water and humid air. This makes it great for waterproofing solutions. Chemsol Epoxy Adhesive finds great application for tile, granite, marble and stone joints.

Chemtite ES

Chemsol Chemtite is a two-component epoxy adhesive which cures at room temperature. It helps in bonding a variety of substrates together with high bond strength.

Method of Application

1. Surface Preparation

  • Surface should be clean and dry and in sound condition.
  • All the surface dirt, grease, loose particles should be removed from the surface. And the surface should be washed thoroughly with clean water.

2. Coating

  • Mix the two thoroughly in the resin to hardener ratio of 1:1.
  • Apply one coat of Chemtite ES evenly over the contact surface.
  • The joint should be secured in a fix position as soon as the adhesive is applied.

Precautions and Limitations

  • Do not dilute Chemtite ES with water or any other chemical.
  • Keep material closed when not in use.
  • The equipment and the extra material shall be immediately removed as it will be difficult to remove the cured adhesive.

Storage

Shelf Life

12 months for the date of manufacturing if unopened and stored properly.

Wash skin with soap and water.
On eye contact wash the eyes immediately and consult a physician if irritation persists.
On ingestion consult a doctor immediately.
