Chemsol Chemwall Eco is a ready to use tintable waterproof coating. It is used for exterior and interior walls to form a seamless waterproofing coating. It offer’s excellent hiding properties and a strong inter coat adhesion hence the coating lasts for long duration.

Method of Application

1. Surface Preparation

• Surface should be clean and dry and in sound condition.
• All the surface dirt, grease, loose particles should be removed from the surface. And the surface should be washed thoroughly with clean water.
• All other previous coatings if any shall be completely removed.

2. New Surfaces

• The newly constructed surfaces shall be completely cured before coating application.

3. Cracks and Joint Treatment

• All the surface cracks from 0 - 5mm shall be opened with a 3mm angle grinder.
• The opened cracks shall be cleaned properly and filled with Chem Crack Fill an acrylic crack-filler.
• Cracks more than 5mm should be repaired using polymer modified mortar using Chemsol Chemfast SBR. With a cement sand ratio of 1:3 and polymer content of 10% by weight if cement. Allow it to cure as required.

4. Application

• Chemwall Eco can be tinted in desired shade.
• Apply 1st coat of Chemwall Eco on the primed surface with roller or brush with 10% water dilution. The coating shall be allowed to air dry for 6hrs before application of second coat.
• The second coat of Chemwall Eco shall be applied over the first coat. The coverage of 4 Sqm/Lit shall be maintained. Allow the coating air cure for 6-7 hours. Dark base shades may need an additional coat for finishing.
• Let the coat air cure for 7 days.

Precautions and Limitations

• Do not dilute Chemwall Eco with water other than recommendation.
• Keep material closed when not in use.
• Do not apply when rain is expected in short time span.
• Maintain the coating thickness during the application of coat.
• Do not apply thin coat by over extending the brush.

Material consumption of 3.5-4.5 M2/L/2 Coats (with recommended application process) depending upon the porosity of the substrate.

• Apply one coat of Chemseal Prime with 100% dilution on the surface as a priming coat. The priming coat shall have a coverage of 80-100 Sqft/Lit.

• Chemwall PU can be tinted in desired shade.
• Apply 1st coat of Chemwall PU on the primed surface with roller or brush. The coverage of 0.125L/Sqm/Coat shall be maintained on the surface. The coating shall be allowed to air dry for 6hrs before application of second coat.
• The second coat of Chemwall PU shall be applied over the first coat. The coverage of 0.125L/Sqm/Coat shall be maintained.
• Let the coat air cure for 7 days.
